Ronnie Scott's Rejects are a highly entertaining fun party band guaranteed to fill the dance floor at every event.

Formed when they started playing outside the Reject China Shop in Canterbury, the band took themselves off to London for a night out with their hard earned profits from busking. On arrival at the famous "Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club' in Soho, the band were refused admission on account of their youthful yet under-age looks. Hence, the birth of Ronnie Scott's Rejects!

Ronnie Scott's Rejects is led by musical director, bassist and saxophonist Niall Oates, who has taken the band from playing on the swing and jazz circuit to performing a well-polished show of dance floor favourites and becoming a prominent UK party band. The band is fronted by Hazel Holder who has West End and Broadway shows under her belt.

Founder member and former band leader of Ronnie Scott's Rejects, Stephen Large is also musical director for Caro Emerald, Rebecca Ferguson and Duffy as well as having been MD/keyboard player for Imelda May, Clare Teal, Martha Reeves, Paloma Faith and Rod Stewart. He has also taken over Jools Holland's role as keyboard player in the band Squeeze and is pianist for Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott.

Carl Hudson occasionally takes the piano seat with Ronnie Scott's Rejects as well as playing in Professor Green's band and Culture Club. Brendan Dowse and Graeme Taylor are also both regular piano players with Ronnie Scott's Rejects.

Ronnie Scott's Rejects are often required to play music for themed events. Please refer to the 'Themed Parties' section on this site for inspiration on your next event.
