Niall Oates

Niall's interest in music led him from his Celtic roots in folk music to playing swing and jazz on arrival at Canterbury Christ Church University. He has worked with Kent's swing and jive band "Hullabaloo" along with soul band "The Lord Large Experiment".

He has also become a swing-dance instructor working regularly with Simon Selmon of the London Swing Dance Society. TV dance credits include PG Woodhouse's Picadilly Jim, feature film A United Kingdom, The Paul O' Grady chat show, The Alan Titchmarsh chat show and The Hotel Inspector.

With a fair amount of booking experience, Niall has taken the role of band manager and represents the band for all events. His past experience has taken bands to Florida, Sun City Superbowl, Dubai, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Ireland along with performing at and supplying the entertainment for Jules and Jamie Oliver's wedding.
